The long transit Mars is doing through the area of your career and business interests is set to continue until early into July. There is no doubt that the end of this period – which began November last – will have formed a water-shed of some kind. You may then look back to November 2011 from the vantage point of mid July and see how far things have come. It will either be a pleasing thing or it will be daunting in that you seem to have little or no control over it. If it's the former then obviously you have been planning these changes for some time, and you simply need to wait until the middle of April to see the tide turn in your favour or the speed to increase on a hitherto slow crawl from minimum to maximum. The fact that your ruler Jupiter, in January, is again at the start of Taurus shows the need to think carefully about your vocation and the time and effort you give to it. Or perhaps the sort of loyalties that on a day-to-day basis keep you from getting to grips with things that really can make the difference and turn around the hum drum to something viable and even pacey. The problem might be that things are not so much negative as too routine. If Sagittarians gets bored then they become disheartened and discouraged and can convince themselves that life is not good.

If 2011 was about effort and choice and anti-climax then 2012 is about establishing ground so that you can make progress in the real sense. When we know what's possible we can find the means to bring it to life. You have done the investigatory part, and maybe even the preparatory planning, but the whole deal needs taking to market. Whatever you wish or want or long for, the aspect Uranus begins making to Pluto in April bring the possibilities nearer to a secure or solid climax; last thing you need is to erect a framework and find it's too lightweight and blows away in the first storm. For this reason it is good to allow the April-June period to reveal the design alongside the security – one without the other is counter productive.

The entrance of Neptune into Pisces in February is one influence that effects your private feelings and emotional moods this year. There is a need to close a gap which loomed between spring of 2011 and January 2012. This gap may have seemed unbridgeable between some of the everyday associations you had become accustomed to and the wishes and hopes you had of them which were more and more unlikely to come into being. The answer - you will find when February arrives - is not to lament this but to see what else has grown out of that gap when you weren't paying attention. There are things you start to realize about the potential inherent in the freedom from strange or convoluted restrictions put on you by some of the ties or the people cluttering up your schedule in a grey area where no daylight could dawn. Liberation from these brings some startling understanding. You begin to realize the magic inherent in a lot of your more passionate interests (now showing only as possibilities) once they are in a different climate, one where you can put into practise the schemes and styles you have long thought desirable. It's true that those born in the first deconate of Sagittarius will feel the flush of these traits the first, but others born in Sagittarius will also benefit at certain times of the year when Pisces/Neptune is aspected by other transiting planets. It's a time of complete grounding for Sagittarius – you are coming into you own by means of the kind of specialist knowledge you have acquired through the years. There's not always a formal route to the place where you feel happiest or where you want to be. Probably because it is hard to name or define. But by default you come to it by courtesy of having done what you've done the best.
