January 2012The main news for Pisces is that your ruler, Neptune, is about to enter your sign in February for the full deal, after flirting a little at the very beginning between April and August last year. It is set to do a twelve year stint and the obvious reverberations from the shifting of gears is this year. Neptune – in common with all the extra Saturnine planets - moves very slowly. It's one of the generational planets and therefore formulates situations and consciousness into which individual influence falls. For this reason we must talk a little about Pisces and the Neptune effect.... If in the last few years you've been experiencing a feeling of needing to search for the right sense of belonging or to find the right group, community or niche in which to invest your better energies, then this is attributable to the Neptune in Aquarius effect coming to an end in January. The surge towards merging and/or disappearing into the timelessness that a lot of Pisces people find so easy to do is the prerogative of Neptune, but can only be found often after great effort or trial and tribulation. And by contrasting the wrong places and people with the right ones. As Neptune leaves Aquarius' last deconate and makes for Pisces proper, the search becomes more effortless – and please make no mistake; nobody can judge what it is that you find to be the right place or collective for you. No-one except yourself. It might be a tropical paradise or it might be a run down kind of space you need to restore. But one way or the other you will be drawn to the situations/locations or space irrespective of whether it is inconvenient to acknowledge it and follow it or easy to do so. Neptune does not respect boundaries or overly logical plans, it just wants to harmonise and meld and dream. On the subject of dreaming …. there will be Pisces folk extraordinarily gifted and talented and creative who are literally forced to put that into practise after years of being dormant. This is not to be wondered at. Neptune creates worlds, not necessarily of concrete and substance, but of strong atmosphere and essence. The world of the writer, the painter, the architect and the entrepreneur. That some stronger more pragmatic influences need to back these goes without saying …. So, the long transit of Mars though Virgo (your opposite sign) happening from November 2011 to July 2012 will in effect see to it that your feet are on the ground and your vision is focused on the possibilities rather than the illusions. By the third week of January you will have the draft plan and be able to see the potential. Then greater movement towards fruition between February and mid April. However, it's likely that details from November last will need to be alined with where things are then to avoid a split focus or unnecessary compromise in May and June. By curtesy of the fact that both Jupiter and Uranus are back at the start of the signs they occupied last year (Taurus and Aries) the pointers are showing the need to go back and restart some things or and to forget others in favour of new ones. The more risky or adventurous financial ground you were pushed onto (or perhaps ventured onto of your own accord) is something you need to allow to show it's own strength and limitation with the aspect made by Uranus and Pluto between April and mid July. Whereas the development of the everyday agenda given by Jupiter/Taurus and the need for greater comfort in the immediate environment can be relied upon to go ahead without much delay or hitch once March has elapsed. Although you should look at what impeded the plan last August for fear of it being a glitch that can reoccur and divide the view in summer. In all, this is a time when Pisces people of all ages look more at their personal values, welfare and daily surroundings than any other area of life concern.
