January 2012Transiting Uranus is in strong aspect to the Sun for people born in the first ten days of your sign, and remains so for most of this year, bringing the need for attention to the 'detail' of change as it happens. In January, Uranus will start over at the beginning of Aries for the third and last time and as the year progresses it will complete the loop it's been on since March 2011. It may have felt recently that you were going around in circles, whereas in actuality that circular route was forming a deeper pattern in the solid earth so beloved of Capricorn feet. By March this year you can see the difference made by the combined energies of both Uranus and Saturn to your private world and the responses which are then becoming clearer from the outer world. If your prime reason for doing things is to accommodate a wish for some kind of benefit for somebody else then it doesn't mean that there are not other advantages for you personally from what is being accomplished. Nothing happens for just one reason! The major transit Mars has been doing through Virgo from November last year will not be complete until July this year, but will rip through plans as you lay them and show the tendency to set them on newer and firmer lines. This will not occur without your permission but may seem like a divine hand controlling and censoring at times when you feel out of your depth. It actually comes from your need to meet the best in connections and information and, if you pause to appreciate it, will increase your knowledge of the Laws of Attraction. Jupiter is also at the beginning of its previous transit of Taurus, so your two fellow earth signs are graced with the influence of planets which take things forward, whether that's wanted or not. The Jupiter transit happening last year from June and then retrograding in August was something of a rehearsal (or an anti-climax). This year however all Capricorns can benefit from the progressive hand of Jupiter as March sees a dissolution of the obstacles or opposition of August 20l1, allowing for a steadier motion into the summer and bringing a possible fork in the road in June 2012 from which to diversify, or change tempo and direction. You might want to look then at a wider canvass than had been previously envisaged. As Neptune enters Pisces in February for a twelve year shift, the accent is on letting go of areas of everyday concern which cannot be cured and hark back to outworn habits or duties. The time for revamping and refreshing them was the spring and summer of 2011 and if they are still not properly alined with the present then it's best to leave them be and move on. Mercury and Neptune are conjunct in mid February at zero degrees, giving very little grip on those same matters that can then swing under the radar whilst remaining active yet unseen, unless you trace the pattern and follow the scent in the middle of March and cut ties or seal loose ends by the third week of April. The slowing down of events in the latter half of January to the middle of April is for the finer tuning and the closer inspection of matters formal and profound, taking a long-term effect on all financial, professional and welfare matters, but it's not to say you won't be busy - or even hectic in that time - it's merely that the outer pace slows to accommodate your understanding of action needed but then of necessity picks up speed in the greater scheme by the start of May. Also happening at the end of April are issues of conciliation, arbitration or assessment which become crucial in their need for sharpness and accuracy if they are to form the basis of a clear cut method for de-cluttering and culling which makes way for new growth. Life takes you with it sometimes and there are forces that lead rather than obey. It doesn't always mean you are out of control, simply that you have surrendered in faith to what has been asked for previously. It's a mysterious process but one which we need to experience in order to live to the fullest.
