New Year 2010

The current Saturn/Pluto aspect is strongly influencing the area of your unknown future planning. Translated this means that you are forced to work in the dark and imagine the outlines, or view them dimly from afar, in order to get to the next lighter phase. There is no standing still, and the metaphors relate to finance, career paths and matters of connectedness so that lifestyle and other concerns don't become too separate or too diffuse.

Sometimes there is a need to walk in faith - or certain things just pass us by. You may feel you have been doing all this since last November, but if you have then you will see the need to continue a little further - probably until April this year when it is more apparent what can proceed in the same vein, and what needs to be cast side, and what needs to be rethreaded with the older strands from 2009. The long transit of Mars through your opposing sign of leo has reached a pause until March. Therefore, pause yourself now to consider the affect some of your attitudes are having on people close to you, or what the plans you are making will mean to certain relationships. By March you may want to completely begin certain things again, and you will be able to understand some of the trickier associations which were demanding more than they seemed to be worth, or expecting more than they were prepared to give. I

It's genrally a time for understanding your softer side, but not where it comes to practicality or earnings. You should scrutinise the efforts and the projected schemes of anyone you rely on; employers and colleagues etc - although these are probably well-meaning there could be hereabouts some aberrations of thought or actions which are affecting your own future agenda. These could easily turn to dust rather than profit as summer arrives if not grounded in probability and not possibility before then. Meantime the Mercury retrograde aspects in January and again in April will cause you to firstly move below the radar in the early months of the year in some of your efforts, so as to secondly keep them concealed from those who are anti the ideas as the Spring Equinox arrives. It is a very complex time for friendships, and for plans that need to be launched in order to move on. Instigation isn't straightforward but then from March the assistance and support of those close is more forthcoming. Everything has a price, and the price may be that you have to admit to a wider spectrum of needs before these allies than they were previously aware of. They may not desert you but they will be wary, so the more sincere you are about everything the more they are inclined to trust. You are entitled to have grey areas and blanks that you cannot fill, but that's not the same as falsifying information or deliberately being mendacious. Your integrity is on the line now, and the result of the test is the hinge on which things turn.

May Update

Mars is exiting your opposite sign of leo by the second week of June, which means you will hopefully have moved past the cycle that has been going on around partners or partnership matters. You should be clear of all the obstacles, loopholes and repetition of the parts of the plan driving you mad. But by the end of June you need to be confident in the decisions made, because to change your mind or swap tactics puts you at risk of losing the good opinion or support of others. Make sure you are on the safest ground before you nail things down in June/July. By safest we mean surest for you. Chopping and changing after all the discussion or joint planning over the last seven or eight months really isn‘t an option. The change of sign of Uranus in June from pisces to aries is one which gives a sudden breakthrough or a new turn in financial opportunity or business method, and there again it must be made firm by mid-July. This movement of the erratic, dramatic Uranus, is benefited this summer by the company of Jupiter, so the information and the development until middle July is a superb basis for far-reaching and daring moves which would normally be out of the question. See all this as the first step, or the pilot, and then be prepared to make it part of the normal path by March next year.

The retrograde motion of Mercury from the third week of April to the second week of May is giving much pause for thought in personal or home affairs, where you might have imagined you had it all sewn up in March/April. It could be time to think again, but with the existing knowledge in place giving substance to new information. Don't be fooled in June by diversification or dual options - the need to keep a strong hold on the basis of ideas and advancement is more than ever required. Where there is much action there has to be sure direction or the likelihood is of distraction and confusion and a grinding to a halt. As we said in the above paragraph, the decisions etc need to be finite, or near enough. There is a very insubstantial side to Jupiter in pisces which means that things are not for the long-term or are unrealistic to the point of flimsy. The brief foray Jupiter has into aries until September gives a stronger flavour but requires the fortitude and confidence of personal action and representation if things are to be enduring. The details, however flimsy, may be tweaked when Jupiter goes back into pisces for a while in September.

In June there is the reward for some of the harder relationship struggles or the more harrowing situations you went through in previous months. This is because these experiences have won you a place, and you know or feel where you belong, even if you are still obliged to hop between the light and the dark. The light grows and the more you claim it the less need there is for the unwanted places or situations. The April retrograde motion of Saturn back into virgo is one which asks for greater resolve to finish old problem with new solutions, and to bring to a close things which cannot now be applicable to future plans and will only sap time, energy or even money. The straightforward motion of Saturn through libra beginning in August shows the strength you‘ve gained from the network of people or the reformed plans for financial and future stability. The other air sign of libra compliments your need for doing it your own way by showing you who is empathetic and favourable to your way of thinking and can join forces without taking any power or control from your need to self-manage or be self-reliant. You need complicity from associates now, not competitive spirit. You know where you're heading and there is no need to keep going over the outlines.

September Update

Your sun ruler, Uranus, has retrograded back into pisces for a while, and will effect your solar first house. It mean that episodes and experiences from the past seven years are not quite digested or finished with. Between September and November it may be necessary to take a last look at where security matters have weak links, or where financial irregularity is still ruling the day. This can mean that you have allowed illogical or unnecessary expenditure into the budgeting. There is a choice; you can look into getting a hold here, or you can wait until December arrives and allow things to surface of their own accord over the next two to three months. But it might depend on how much secrecy or diplomacy you want to to see exercised as these matters are broached. If privacy is high on your list, then start your own research before November. The retrograde motion of Mercury between August and September will have turned around a lot of matters, and by the end of September there could well be a different complexion on arrangements concerning others, and things that were specifically located in your personal sphere of control could be under a collective umbrella. This is maybe the only way forward, but with it comes the need for some rigourous sorting out (unless you did this already) before a matter which should be addressed by you alone becomes the subject of wider debate- as mentioned in the first paragraph.

The presence of Jupiter in pisces again with your ruler Uranus from September to January is giving something of a last chance to chapters that have to be overhauled before they can be moved on, sold or closed down. There is a gentler mood prevailing in money matters and well-being. It means you can take advantage of conditions to go at your own pace and be less stressed around people or places that would otherwise be very high maintenance and cause wear and tear to the nerves and to the wallet. Whatever this points to in your script, be assured that from the middle of November your intent to deal with these issues is noted, and that in itself is the key. To push things further under the carpet is not the answer. Unless you want to surrender some part of your self-reliance or autonomy of choice. Think hard as to what we refer to here, because it may take a few minutes before you place the situation over the particular energetic grid of your life scenarios and the penny drops. One way or another this description will apply to you, or will have applied to you at some point during 2010. The Universe is trying to get you to look deeper into the bottomless pit of your potential - and your possible confusion over securities, money, legacy, wherewithal or general material entitlement.

In October there is a deepening of your need to feel belonging in some region that is probably not domestic or personal, as much as worldly or extra curriculum. In as much, it is highly personal to you so don't ignore it. The presence of Mars and Venus in Scorpio is highly volatile in a non-obvious way at times, and the inner world and its desires are always to the fore. For you it signals the awareness of who you want to be and how you want to be perceived, because the mirror to what we become always lies outside of ourselves. Just allow the innate desire 'to be' lead you to who you need to be with. They might not have all the answers, but they take you into the more intricate part of the current mystery with an ease that would be lacking if you did things alone.
